Cindy
Edit
Has anyone noticed that Cindy, who is part of the tail section survivors, is seen chasing Charlie, who is running to the front of the plane? Did I miss something?--Cherylray1 07:49, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
- It's been awhile since I've seen this episode but it seems to me that when the turbulence hits she has to go towards the back of the plane to do air hostess (or whatever they're called nowadays) duties. -- Dhalia 16:38, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Mesopotamia?
Edit
Can someone change the wiki link for Air France Flight 447 so it doesn't take you to a link of Mesopotamia. I tried myself but couldn't get it to work —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Interitus (talk • contribs) 20:56, 26 March 2010.
- Thanks, fixed. -- Graft talk contributions 18:48, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
Sun and Kate's Conversation
Edit
Does anyone know what Sun says to Kate on the beach in the scene where Kate is bathing in the surf? It was not subtitled. Juanfranela 14:37, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Old picture
Edit
What happened to the old picture of Shannon holding the radio? All of a sudden, it's just been changed. That was a much better picture for the episode than this new one. Marc604 06:15, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think it was probably changed because it's supposed to be a picture of the centric character. Although I agree that I don't like this new picture. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 06:32, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- I thought that the main reason Shannon was in the pic was because she was the only lead character without a centric episode in Season One, and not only was Shannon holding the radio an iconic moment and perfect for the 1x02 picture, but it also allowed Shannon a photo in Season One. Possible continuity error
Edit
I noticed something weird when I watched this episode Boone asks Jack after the fight scene with Sayid and Sawyer if there were any survivors from the cockpit and Jack lies and says no because he didn't want people to know about what happened to the pilot but when Sawyer shoots the polar bear Boone asks "You think that's what killed the pilot?" What do you think? Matan815 Capsule Dump 21:21, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
I think there was a deleted scene which dealt with this. If memory serves, Boone says something like "if you want to keep something a secret, don't tell the fat guy." I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the correct scene, but I'm sure there was something on the Season 1 DVDs that explained this. Jimbo the Tubby talk contributions 03:14, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't have the DVDs, but I remembered the scene when I read your words, Jimbo.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 12:42, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Edit
This episode's centricity on the Season 1 navbox is listed as "Various", but there are only two characters (Charlie and Kate) with flashbacks. I suggest that, according to precedent ("Special", "The Glass Ballerina", "Exposé", "This Place is Death") the centricity in the navbox be changed to "Charlie & Kate". (This discussion has been started in the navbox talk page already, but people don't seem to be visiting that page lately) --kristbg 01:07, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
Absolutely, this needs to be fixed. Menot 05:11, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Seems obvious to me. --LeoChris 05:42, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Main Image change
Edit
Main Image needs to be changed. New pic would better symbolize main episode plot which is beining of the seires.

Really misleading. Locke isn't the centric character of this episode, Kate and Charlie are. --LeoChris 23:38, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
Not as the main picture but this picture SHOULD be integrated into the article with a caption noting that it is an early and explicit thematic motif relating to black and white, and possibly an early clue to the direction the show would take featuring Jacob and MIB.--Jonahwriter 12:01, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
I have no problem with including the picture somewhere in the arcticle but the main picture needs to be of Kate & Charlie as it currently is. We have always use a picture of the centric character/s for each episode and I am strongly opposed to changing this. Mhtmghnd 02:21, April 11, 2010 (UTC)
We should have the centric characters wherever possible. I'm removing the dispute template as there seems to be a consensus on this. Menot 02:44, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
Wrong Episode References
Edit
It seems that there are at least 2 reference that mistakenly refer to events from the next ep. as events in this one:
Under Bloopers and Continuity Errors -It says-"In the final scenes featuring the musical montage of characters on the beach, we see Claire sitting on the sand, close to the water. A close-up shot of her stroking her belly reveals quite obviously that the actress, Emilie de Ravin, is wearing a pregnancy suit/false belly, as there is a large, sharp-edged gap between where the suit's belly ends and the actress's body starts."
Under Literary Techniques-"During the Kate flashback scene Ray says to Annie, "Everyone deserves a fresh start." The title of the next episode is Tabula Rasa (blank slate.) " --Lockeswig 16:11, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
- I removed them. Thanks. -- Graft talk contributions 05:55, May 3, 2010 (UTC)
