Talk:Magic box/Theories
From Lostpedia
Nice job on the cleanup, but I still maintain the wonky, more or less silly theories were entertaining and sometimes even enlightening reading!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by DharmaAndWreck (talk • contribs) .
Truly it is a sad state of affairs when you turn to the a encyclopedia for laughs. --Hit and miss 05:52, 1 April 2007 (PDT)

CC has said that there is no magic box, and that hes using it as a metaphor. However before I delete half the artical I want some other peeps views. Was CC serious when he says theres no space time box granting peoples wishes and hyping up loads of theories?
so shall we delete nearly most of this artical??? --Hit and miss 03:34, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
If you rewatch the episode, you can clearly interpret Ben's discussion about the "box" with Locke as a metaphor. I think, and have always thought, that it was a metaphor. The Podcast clears up the box mystery with a definative answer, unlike the submarine answer which was more ambiguous. If we decide to drop this line of thought, we should remove the other references on "The Man from Tallahasee(sp)" episode page and theories. --Samhain99 08:01, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
I believe he was quite clear on the sub aswell, I don't buy into the whole moving it theory as it just strikes me as something he wouldn't be able to do in the time given. I mean he has to find somewhere to dock it, swim back and then fake its explosion, its a bit too much for him todo, even with help. I'm sure he phrased it like that to keep everyone guessing --Hit and miss 08:38, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
If you want to delete half of the theories due to improbability and a semi-cryptic answer from the writers, you'll have to delete half of Lostpedia! Besides, they have entertainment value. :) Let's wait until we know more. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DharmaAndWreck (talk • contribs) .
