Go on Desmond
GO ON DESMOND! Cave Charlie's head in! I think Charlie will be the next character to die, as he does nothing worthwhile on the Island except "protect Claire" and agitate everyone else (kidnapping Sun for Sawyer, for example). I hope so anyway, I'm sick of that freaking hobbit. -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 07:13, 23 November 2006 (PST)

- Oh, I think I'd miss Charlie. Besides, we still don't know exactly what happened to him during and after the hatch implosion... --Invertebrat 22:31, 25 November 2006 (PST)
- Charlie... we do... he got out just before it imploded... The whistling sound as the charge increased temporarily deafened him. -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 02:20, 7 December 2006 (PST)

Should there be a spoiler warning?
I added one when I made the page as "The Lost Moments", but this redirect doesn't seem to have one...--MightyRearranger 06:36, 25 November 2006 (PST)
- Remember how the UK promos had spoilers though? I guess since this is ABC content it's different. In fact the clips may be like film trailers in that these exact scenes may not appear in the final cut of the episode that actually airs in the future. Just food for thought, I'm fine either way.-- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 23:05, 14 December 2006 (PST)
- Also, with the revelations being bigger in the recent Lost Moments (i.e. Cindy), should we re-evaluate the use of a spoiler template? -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 00:44, 15 December 2006 (PST)
- I think the spoiler template should be used at this moment in time, because everyone i know, who has gone and seen that clip, has complained they didn't want to know about Cindy's fate until Lost had resumed once again. I strongly reccomend the spoiler flag is put up here.--Jabadibah 00:52, 15 December 2006 (PST)
- Official forums (TheFuselage) have Spoiler Warning at Previews (Lost Moments) section --Znch 08:33, 15 December 2006 (PST)
- If J.J Abrams "Official Forums" have a spoiler warning i think a flag should be placed here immediatley...--Jabadibah 02:52, 17 December 2006 (PST)
- Adding spoiler tag again, as per discussion after Dec 14's Lost Moments. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯ Talk 03:26, 17 December 2006 (PST)
- Maybe the proposed spoiler policy should be changed? It could say something like: "an ABC promo is not a spoiler -- unless it reveals something considered big by some fans". If someone were to propose that wording, I would have to vote "no". I like the current wording: "Plot summaries from ABC, promos for the show, and the Official Lost Podcast are not considered spoilers by Lostpedia and don't require spoiler warnings." It is a simpler policy, and should be easier to enforce.--Dagg 04:45, 17 December 2006 (PST)
Is Claire dead?
God I hope not. Charlie is going to become a bigger git if she is! The problem with these clips is, 30 seconds per clip, you could get 1/2 an episodes worth of content before the series comes back! -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 02:22, 7 December 2006 (PST)
I really doubt that that sneak peak shows that Claire is doubt, i doubt it because i dont believe the producers would want anybody to have any idea of a death before it happens, therefore they wouldnt put that into a "moment" wold they? --lewisg 05:49, 7 December 2006 (PST)
Yeah also they're doing a "love triangle" I heard with Charlie, Claire and someone else (my money's on Desmond or Paulo). Would be a pretty rubbish triangle if Claire died two minutes later --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:12, 7 December 2006 (PST)

Name Change?
I've noticed that the producers of lost and the folks from ABC are calling the Lost moments as Lost Nuggets. Should we change the name from moments to nuggets since it seems to be the official name?DeGroot 14:36, 7 December 2006 (PST)
- ABC's website still shows the same ad and link as "The Lost Moments". I think that it should stay as it is until ABC changes the name on the site, due to the fact that we provide a link to the official webpage at the bottom of the article.--MightyRearranger 16:14, 7 December 2006 (PST)
Same clothes
I noticed that in all the clips so far, Hurley, and it looks like Charlie are wearing the same clothes. This may just mean that they are not changing their shirts for several days, or that the events in at least the first 4 "Lost moments" happen on the same day.--ASEO 11:35, 8 December 2006 (PST)
Thoughts?
- Well I think its quite simply suggesting that all four of the "moments" so far are of the same episode, so Hurley and Charlie are wearing the same clothes. My guess is its most likely 3x07, as the first sneak peak was only a few days after "I Do" and post-production wouldn't have been that far ahead than Episode 7 --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:17, 8 December 2006 (PST)
- That's what I figured. I guess I had expected the Lost Moments to have been more than promos for the next episode.--ASEO 11:35, 8 December 2006 (PST)
- I think that not only are they all the same episode, but they are all pretty much the same scene. Desmond gets Hurley and Charlie and brings them to the beach because he has had a vision about Claire. He saves Claires life and then Charlie gets into a fight with him since he knew about it before hand, and Hurley asks Locke about the hatch implosion because he's weirded out by Desmond's prediction. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jackdavinci (talk • contribs) .

- Aw thats a shame. Do you know whats replacing it? --lewisg 15:23, 17 December 2006 (PST)
- I'm pissed. I've only seen the premiere so far because I keep getting stuck out somwhere every Wednesday now. If ABC doesn't have the proverbial cajones to keep it's shows on through a miniscule drop in ratings then I may have to consider dropping ABC for the same reason......--MightyRearranger 15:59, 17 December 2006 (PST)
- Wah! I actually really like the show. It's really just a miniseries anyway so I don't see why they couldn't stick it out. Supposedly they will air the rest of the episodes online. But what does this mean for Lost Moments? Will they still show them on the replacement show or online? Or are they.. lost? --Jackdavinci 22:53, 20 December 2006 (PST)

Season 3 Continued
When Lost returns, can someone Stateside put the new episodes onto YouTube, please. In the UK, you have to subscribe to digital to get Lost and for some of us starting out on our own, we just can't afford both the internet and digital TV. Davidfletcher 20:33, 29 December 2006
- You can download S3 episodes off Bittorrent, if you need to, though that is of dubious legality, I think. ∇ϕ 18:31, 30 December 2006 (PST)

OK, Hurley was being serious...
Umm, I have never seen Hurley that serious, and that doesn't seem like him. Like, he seems crazy, psychotic, rampant...And that laugh at the end somewhat broek through that, yet I still see it. It's just odd, in my personal opinion. :: .-- |†|[ K i t s u n e ]|†|
- I think thats going to turn out to be a Charlie "dream/vision" sequence, like when he had to baptise Aaron. Just a thought, as Hurley really did seem to be acting very off. --lewisg 13:28, 12 January 2007 (PST)
Arm and key
It can be Brennan who "took the keys" in english translation of distress signal recorded by Rousseau.--Znch 15:46, 19 January 2007 (PST)
- Ooo, I like this theory. Very likely. Plus, another amputation! --PandoraX 17:09, 19 January 2007 (PST)
- And on more amputation is rabbit's foot on keychain. --Znch 17:26, 19 January 2007 (PST)
Am I the only one who thinks that whole scene was very poorly done? The arm is flailing around like it's rubber when Vincent comes out, and then he magically changes from holding one end to holding the middle... Don't disappoint me Lost :( Loki 16:01, 19 January 2007 (PST)
- Im thinking it could be the failsafe key from the swan, but can't explain the arm.. --lewisg 03:50, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- That was my initial thought too, when I first saw the clip. And also maybe that the arm belonged to Desmond. Obviously that last part would require some sort of further theory explaining his appearance on the island post implosion (maybe a sort of death/rebirth idea). But on closer inspection it clearly isn't the same key. For starters it has a much shorter chain and secondly -as has been mentioned- it's got what appears to be a "lucky" rabbits foot key ring attached. My next thought as to who it might've been was Dr. Marvin Candle (the narrator from The Swan orientation film). A lot of people think that he has a prosthetic arm. Only problem with this is, it's his left arm, whereas the arm in the clip is a right arm. There is a possibility that they've flipped the image though, since Vincent comes out of the jungle with the hand to the left of his mouth.--Unyon 17:32, 21 January 2007 (PST)
Maybe the arm's from one of the dead bodies in the polar bear cave. Can't explain the key though --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 17:30, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- I thought that to but Vincent would have to be pretty brave to go into the polar bear cave.Mr.Leaf 17:39, 21 January 2007 (PST)
The polar bears may have been gone, hunting boar or something, maybe the hand is from Adam or Eve from the caves --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 17:44, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- Maybe but I still think Vincent would be smarter then to go into there (when he would smell the polar bears) as he could get trapped. And I doubt its Adam and Eve or Jack would have found the key. I like the Brennan idea someone mentioned above.Mr.Leaf 17:53, 21 January 2007 (PST)
Maybe --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 18:01, 21 January 2007 (PST)
The arm could belong to Montand. In Exodus (Part one) he's mentioned briefly by Rousseau: "The Black Rock is not far. This is where it all began -- where my team got infected -- where Montand lost his arm. We must move quickly."--Unyon 18:58, 21 January 2007 (PST)
I think I know what kind of key it is, because of a minor spoiler I read. ODK Talk Sandbox 19:15, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- Oooo give us a linky, Dan! (I had sooo promised myself I wouldn't get overspoiled this time around, and look at me now) --PandoraX 19:22, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- [2], forth paragraph, third line. ODK Talk Sandbox 19:35, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- That's what I thought you were talking about when you mentioned spoilers. Good thinking. Don't know where you get the "owner" from though(?)--Unyon 19:39, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- Oh, that was my mistake. I don't know who the owner is; I only think I know what the key is used for. Sorry, don't know why I wrote that (deleting that part). ODK Talk Sandbox 19:42, 21 January 2007 (PST)
- If Hurley finds a real car on the island , maybe the hand is of the man who was driving the car , and the key was the car key.
- Well since the car has been mentioned now, you can see a screenshot of it here [3]. It might be shown in Lost Moment #11, but for the sake of not wanting to say any spoilers here, if you do look at the image, pay close attention to the front of the car. Hopefully you'll recognise what I'm talking about. It sort of hints at who the owner of the key/arm might've been (although not the specific person).--Unyon 20:13, 25 January 2007 (PST)
Anyone knows how could Vincent bark, while his mouth was occupied? --Meerkat 09:02, 26 January 2007 (PST)
I'm confused and certain that what I ask next will make me look really blonde. Did Vincent not leave the island on Other's boat? --Princess Dharma (banned) 15:29, 2 February 2007 (PST)
- It had only been assumed that Vincent was on the boat with Michael and Walt. Mostly because of an extra on the Season 2 DVD's, that showed the boat scene being filmed, with Vincent clearly on the boat with them. It was probably changed for continuity reasons, as it would've needed explaining as to how he got there in the first place etc... So now they've just worked him back into the plot.--Unyon 05:24, 4 February 2007 (PST)
Van and Corpse
So in clip 11 we see a van and also a decomposed corpse slumped against it (Sawyer and Jin seemingly undisturbed by this). Presumably this is where the arm and key came from, although it's hard to tell whether the corpse is missing an arm or not. Whoever this person once was, I'm pretty sure he/she used to be involved with DHARMA. On closer inspection, the corpse appears to be wearing what looks like a DHARMA jumpsuit and also the front of the van [4] has a DHARMA logo on it.--Unyon 20:09, 26 January 2007 (PST)
Which episodes are they from?
I want to know which episodes the Lost moments are from. Any thoughts?
I think Clips 1, 2, 3, and 4 and four are all from Not in Portland for several reasons
- In these clips, Hurley, Locke, and Desmond are all wearing the same clothes, so it's probably all taking place on the same day (on the island) If not the same episode.
- Also, when they showed a preview for what's coming up in February after "I Do", I remember Desmond attacking Charlie, so I couldn't have been too far because they only film so many in advance.
- I think I heard somewhere that Charlie would be hoarding Sawyer's tent in Not in Portland.
Clips 6 and 7 I also think are from Not in Portland, just cause Jack has to finish Ben's surgery some time.
Clip 5, I think are from Flashes Before Your Eyes, this is probably what the Other's did to punish Jack for putting Ben in danger (He's probably alive and well)
Clip 8 is defintly from Jack's flashback which is episode 9 (I hear it might be called Stranger in a Strange Land)
Clips 9 and 10 I'm pretty sure are from Trickia Tanka is Dead because the clips focus on Hurley, much like the episode will. I think Hurley comes back from Clip 10 and tries to convience Charlie to do whatever he's talking about in Clip 9.
These are just my theories. What episode do you guys think they're from? --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 13:16, 25 January 2007 (PST)
- Not In Portland: 1,3,6 and 7/ Flashes Before Your Eyes: 2,4 and 5/ Stranger in a Strange Land: 8/ Tricia Tanaka is Dead: 9 and 10. These would be my guesses. Same as above, only with 2 and 4 as Flashes Before Your Eyes. Two reasons for this... Firstly, I think there's going to be too much going on in Not In Portland to also have a big story back at the beach. And secondly, they all seem to revolve around Desmond, it seems more logical to have them happen in a Desmond episode.--Unyon 19:58, 25 January 2007 (PST)
- Just edited my above comment. I did have 1 and 3 in Flashes Before Your Eyes, but from what I've read in a TV guide, it would seem that I was wrong--Unyon 20:26, 25 January 2007 (PST)
I'm stumbed on Clip 11, but I think it's from some episode past Trickia Tanka is Dead, because we need to give Sawyer time to come back. How bizarre though --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 12:25, 26 January 2007 (PST)
- I think clip 11 might be from Tricia Tanaka is Dead actually. In regards to giving Sawyer enough time to get back, I'm pretty sure that he makes his escape from the other island in Not In Portland. So that gives Kate and Sawyer (plus one more person *wink*) two episodes in between to get back to the beach.--Unyon 18:30, 26 January 2007 (PST)

How do we know the woman in clip 13 is an Other. She could just be a random woman. --Princess Dharma (banned) 09:51, 6 February 2007 (PST)
A random woman in the Other's camp and yet is not captured by the Others? I think that's highly unlikely. --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 12:14, 7 February 2007 (PST)
Yes but it is not proven that she is not an Other. She could be on the Other's side but not be an Other --Princess Dharma (banned) 12:17, 7 February 2007 (PST)
