Am i the only one who is irritated by the fact that Michael, Daniel, Charlotte and Miles aren't on the front cover?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 01lander (talk • contribs) .
- Dan, Charlotte, and Miles shouldn't be, but I am very mad Michael isn't on the cover. --CTS 13:04, 10 May 2008 (PDT)
- I do think that Michael should be, but I'm debating about the others. I suppose that since they are main cast members, they should be, but I'm fairly confident that they'll be on it next season. -- Sam McPherson T C E 08:49, 12 May 2008 (PDT)
- One thing is for certain: this is the ugliest DVD cover ever. - TheAma1 09:21, 5 June 2008 (PDT)
- I wouldn't say that. I like it better than three's. -- Sam McPherson T C E 11:39, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
- I wouldn't call it an ugly cover, but it's probably the worst out of the four. -- CTS Talk Contribs 11:40, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
- Hm...just to turn this into a discussion, why do you think it's the worst? -- Sam McPherson T C E 11:43, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
- To me, the photo is about the same as season two. But i dunno...I'll wait until it's in my hands to decide. -- Sam McPherson T C E 18:40, 5 August 2008 (PDT)
- Season Three is the only cover that's really different from the others. I think Season Three's cover was the best. -- CTS Talk Contribs 18:42, 5 August 2008 (PDT)
- I liked the promo poster, but the way they kind of squashed them all together for the dvd cover, i didn't care for. -- Sam McPherson T C E 19:54, 5 August 2008 (PDT)
- I think the reason they haven't been including some main characters is due to space. Nikki and Paulo should have been on the Season 3 cover but I don't think they would have fit. Same with Michael, Miles, Daniel, Charlotte, and Frank on the Season 4 cover. -- CTS Talk Contribs 19:57, 5 August 2008 (PDT)

Extended episode
Will the boxset feature the extended version of "There's No Place Like Home pt. 1"? I hope so. --Daftshadow 06:38, 31 May 2008 (PDT)
DVD Boxset Consistency
I always get really excited when it comes to the latest DVD box set of the latest Lost season and I love the design of the covers of each box set so far and how they are all consitence. The season 4 box set is great but it doesn't have the same consistency, rather than having a thin strip of thr promo pic on the front, surrounded by a random, non-photographic design, the front cover IS the promo picture, with the "Lost" and "4." Anyone agree? (Please excuse my spelling :)
- Yeah, it's got my OCD flaring off. However, I still hope they have the plastic cover around it like the past three seasons. I'll still buy it no matter what, of course. -- Sam McPherson T C E 08:40, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
Enhanced Episodes?
Does anyone know if the enhanced versions of the episodes will be included? I think this would be most effective as a feature that you can turn off, like closed captions, but does anyone have any idea about this? -- WanderingMathematician talk contribs email 08:35, 3 July 2008 (PDT)
- Yes this would be nice, especially since AFAIK these have not been shown in the UK yet. Kidburla 18:47, 8 July 2008 (PDT)
Lost: Missing Pieces Mobisodes
Anyone know if the mobisodes will be included on this DVD release? All the info I've read so far seems to suggest that they won't be included. That would be a lost opportunity, considering this boxed set will contain less episodes than previous seasons. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hyeok (talk • contribs) .
- I think it's way too early to tell. It'll probably be another two months before the DVDs are absolutely finished. -- Sam McPherson T C E 16:58, 15 July 2008 (PDT)
- Our store got the DVDs in today. There are no Missing Pieces on it, unless they're hidden as easter eggs. --Ao-bōzu 青坊主 * Talk * Contributions
- They are there. They are not listed on the back of the case, but I can assure you they are on disc 6.--Baker1000 16:19, 8 December 2008 (PST)

Season 4 dvd already available in Brazil
It was released here (i think) on tuesday.
Check some pics here:
http://jcvasc.wordpress.com/2008/09/24/despadronizacao-na-4%C2%AA-temporada-de-lost/
It's kind of funny that tv shows like Lost and Heroes get their dvds released first in Brazil. They make a huge success here, much more than CSI-like tv shows. The lame thing about the box is the LOST name not alligned, not following the other 3 season box's patterns. The box has 7 dvds: 4 for the episodes, 2 for extras and an extra one with the pilot episodes of other tv shows: greys anatomy, criminal minds, desperate housewives and ghost whisperer. --Daftshadow 04:29, 25 September 2008 (PDT)
- Awesome, d'you think there's actually more special features than usual or they're just dragging them out over two discs in order to make the boxset larger [due to lack of episodes]? Also just out of interest, what's on the spine? Like in Season 1 where it's Jack, 2 where it's the island and 3 where it's the Hydra logo ... I can't make the new one out! >: 4 8 15 16 23 42 07:51, 25 September 2008 (PDT)

DVD Box Set Release Date
Am I the only one that has noticed that the Box set release date on the main page does not match the date in the article. I'm no Einstien, but October 20th is not 50 days away!!
Am I missing something??--LOSTMAN1|talk|contributions 03:21, 7 October 2008 (PDT)
- It is a mistake, I have left a message on the main page talk but no one has fixed it yet. Don't worry, it's still out Oct 20th!--Baker1000 08:23, 7 October 2008 (PDT)
- Thanks man, I thought so!! I did the same thing as you also, I left them a message. --LOSTMAN1|talk|contributions 23:55, 7 October 2008 (PDT)
Mysterious Egyptian Influence
Damon Lindelof is interviewed on this DVD set, the clip also airs on ABC.com, titled "Mysterious Egyptian Influences" There are several quick looks at the making of the Hieroglyphs in the"Frozen Donkey Wheel" room. I have taken some screencaps of the clip and have been playing around with the Hieroglyphs. Several I have deciphered and confirmed in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphic Dictionary that are online. Here is what I have come up with using Gardiner's Sign List [1]. Since I cannot be 100% certain of the transliteration, or if what we see on the S4DVD is what actually made it onto the walls in FDW, I do not want to put the interpretation on the main page. However, I think it needs to be thrown out for discussion.

Differences on blu-ray version?
I was wondering if there are any added extras on the blu-ray set this time around? If so, what are they?--Baker1000 09:45, 18 October 2008 (PDT)
I noticed the Oceanic Six interview in E12/Blu-ray is different
from the one in the broadcasted episode.
Any other differences in the disc sets?

Rename
I would like to Suggest the renaming of both this page and the season 3 page. The pages contain info on both the DVD and Blu-ray sets so should be called Lost: The Complete Fourth Season (DVD & Blu-ray) rather than just "DVD" since DVD and Blu-ray are two separate things (although i agree they should be kept on the same page). --Anfield Fox 04:34, 11 December 2008 (PST)
Missing Pieces order
Does anyone know why there is no particular order to the Missing Pieces on the DVD? They are in random order, for no real reason. It's probably nothing, I'm just curious. -- CTS Talk Contribs 02:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- They are in production code order :)--Baker1000 02:31, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Easter Egg instructions Don't work for Blu-Ray on PS3
I have tried the easter egg instructions for Blu-Ray on the PS3, and they don't work at all. Do they work on other players?
On the PS3, the arrow keys are used to navigate the menu. So when I am on top of Setup or Features, and I press down or left, etc it moves to another menu item.
Pictures on Discs?
Maybe I'm just really dense, but some of the pictures on the actual discs just aren't clear to me. I can see that Discs 2, 4, 5, and 6 are respectively the Kahana, the chopper, Daniel's rat maze, and the Orchid logo, but the others just don't ring any bells. Maybe disc 1 is the ROV, or some of Daniel's Oxford equipment, or the black box, and maybe Disc 3 is a porthole on the Kahana or the Looking Glass, or the ice layer above the wheel-room, but it really just looks like a picture of a CD, on a CD. Oh, and I bought mine in Canada, don't know if there's differences out there.
Is there any overall agreement on what the discs are supposed to be? I feel the disc-pictures this time around are hazy and insubstantial. Burnside65 20:59, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- The first disc has a picture of Daniel's equipment from the payload experiment in "The Economist". The picture on disc 3 is a porthole from the Kahana. It's the porthole from Desmond and Sayid's room, you can see the rust patch on it.--Baker1000 17:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks a lot. Meh and Meh with regards to how significant those 2 are. Weakest boxset pictures for sure. Loved Season 5's promo poster though; this set should be great. Burnside65 02:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Uploading the Blueprints
Can anyone out there find/upload the images from the back of the box set? The image in question is the blueprints of the ship behind the placement of the disks.-- SawBucks Talk Contribs 06:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Is this on blu-ray? Because I have no idea which blueprints you mean. I have both Season 4 sets and none of them have the ship blueprints behind the discs. (that I can see anyway)--Baker1000 11:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Flashforwards
Can anyone with the blueray let us know what it says about the order of the flash forwards?--Jackdavinci 18:40, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- The flashforwards feature isn't exclusive to blu-ray (even though it says it is on the back). You want to know the chronological order? It is:
"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" - Kate
"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" - Sayid
"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" - Sun
"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" - Jack
"There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" - Hurley
"Ji Yeon" - All of it
"The Shape of Things to Come" - All of it
"The Beginning of the End" - All of it
"The Economist" - All of it
"Eggtown" - All of it
"Something Nice Back Home" - All of it
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Hurley
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Sayid
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Kate
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Sun
"Through the Looking Glass" - All of it
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Jack (first scene)
"There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3" - Final coffin scene
