125? episodes Edit

Just noticed this on the article. Where did this number come from? Adding up all of the episodes aired so far (103) plus the 18 planned for Season 6 gives us 121 episodes in total. Is 125 a miscalculation or am I missing something?--Baker1000 13:53, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Amazon Vs. Lost Wikia Edit

I was thinking of ordering this dvd set of what I thought was seasons 1-6 but when i went onto wikia the product description said that it includes seasons 1-5 and that most people buy season 6 along-side this set for the full experience. Other people commented on amazon but no one replied but i hope someone knows which one is right... Please tell me which one is right

News on a special feature Edit

About an epilogue. I'm...not sure if I can add it, or if the spoiler policy still applies, or whatever. --Golden Monkey 03:11, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • Will this be canon worthy of being included to Hurley and Ben's profiles and added to the episode index, like the mobisodes.Buffyfan123 11:38, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
    • I suspect it will pretty much be like a mobisode. I'd like to coin the term "minisode" if that hasn't been taken! It wouldn't be inserted into the finale apparently, so it's there if you want to watch it, but if you're happy with leaving it at the finale then you can. Although are we sure this is a CC exclusive? I got the impression that the "New chapter of the Island's story with Damon and Carlton" from the S6 DVD press release was this epilogue that's been mentioned. And what's this "original scripted material" that was mentioned when the first DVD details were out? Is that the same? I know Emerson refers to this epilogue as being on the "complete series" boxset, but here in England we refer to a "season" as a "series" so it's possible he got his words mixed up, even though he is an American. It's just that there wasn't anything about this mentioned in the press release for the CC, but there was something hinting at it for the S6 DVD. We also need to discuss whether or not any plot/scene details in this featurette is considered a spoiler before August 24th... Just when we retire the spoiler policy, too.--Baker1000 12:02, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Soundtracks Edit

There is no mention of soundtracks being included. Is that an error? Shouldn't a "complete" set include that?

I guess they only mean the complete DVD collection. Not as many people bother to buy the soundtracks, which is a shame because they are missing out. It would also increase the cost, so why charge an extra $30 for something you probably already own if you really wanted to buy them years ago? We don't have a Season 6 album yet, which they could include to make us buy the full set but they already have a bunch of exlusive (money making) features to make us pay out. It would be a nice touch if they included them, but it's very unlikely. A best of album would be great though.--Baker1000 13:06, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Black lightEdit

I can't help but think the black light is included because there are hidden messages to uncover on the box or the map, etc. Why else would they give us one? It's a cool thing to have, but there is probably a better reason. Everything happens for a reason, right? Just something for you Americans to check when it drops on August 24th. Otherwise I'll be scanning it like crazy come September 20th.--Baker1000 13:06, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Is there a difference between DVD and BluRay versions? Edit

Besides the number of discs.--GreenRabbit 01:06, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

You mean other than the amazing quality you get from the Blu-ray in comparison to DVD? So far, nothing has been confirmed. Although note that the individual Blu-ray seasons had some exclusive bonus features that weren't on the regular DVDs, and since these are basically the same discs in new packaging it's probably going to be the same. You can find the details on the individual season DVD articles. But as for anything exclusive to the CC that is even more exclusive to the Blu-ray CC, nada so far.--Baker1000 12:05, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Past Bonus MaterialEdit

Will all the bonus material from seasons past be included? Such as the material from the tvguide, wal-mart, and best buy discs? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kavorka (talkcontribs) 02:10 (UTC), 23 June, 2010.

Ooh, now that's a good question. Bonus material from the actual seasons will be included, that's all the deleted scenes, commentaries, features and everything else within the main discs. The bonus disc content, which could be picked up for a limited period from certain stores I'm not so sure about. On the Season 1 and 2 Blu-ray releases, the Best Buy bonus content was included, and will very likely be on the Complete Collection Blu-ray. DVD? Probably not. We'll have to wait and see, but I think it's literally just all the discs from the separate releases in one box with nothing added to it.--Baker1000 13:01, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Lost University Master's degree Edit

Does anyone know if the Master's Degree program will be included with the Blu-ray release of Lost: The Complete Collection? The only time I see it mentioned is when Lost: The Complete Sixth Season is spoken about.

Jjq224 17:40, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Since the Complete Collection will contain all 6 season releases, I imagine the content on the standard alone Blu-ray release will be the same as the content on the discs inside the Complete Collection.--Baker1000 19:29, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Blacklight clues Edit

Since I'm in the UK and therefore do not have this set, could someone who does own it uncover the supposed clues using the blacklight and put them under a heading on the article? It would be much appreciated :)--Baker1000 23:28, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Are 37 of the 38 DVDs identical to the individual season DVD sets? Edit

The press release says that the Complete Collection includes "one full disc of bonus exclusive to the collection".

According to Lostpedia, the Complete Collection has 38 DVDs. If you add up the six individual seasons, the total is 37 DVDs. This fact, and the wording of the press release, seems to suggest that 37 of the 38 DVDs in the Complete Collection will be completely identical to the DVDs already released. (This is how the Buffy complete collection was done, for example.)

Can someone verify whether this is indeed true? If it is, we should state it on this page. That would answer all the questions about "Are all the old bonus features included" and "Are the old easter eggs included", and so on. — Lawrence King (talk) 02:35, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • Remember the blu ray season 1 and 2 added best buy bonus extras to the sets, except the dvd versions didn't have them. So does that mean the blu ray has them added to the season sets and the complete series dvd doesn't have them. Then again how come they didn't readd the best buy extra disc extras to the other seasons. Buffyfan123 03:36, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

The blacklight and the secret disc inside the mapEdit

Any news on what the clues are and wwhat the disc conteins?--Rod|talk 16:41, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

I asked about the blacklight above but no one got back to me. As far as I know, all the bonus features on the hidden disc are on the article. I assume this was the extra bonus disc they spoke of before it was released.--Baker1000 19:56, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
The black light reveals another version of the blast door map on some of the internal packaging. --Jajasoon 23:01, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
Is it the Via Domus map, do you know? If it's a third spectrum, we should try to get a picture of it somehow. And thanks for that too.--Baker1000 23:07, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
It is a different map than the ones we've seen before. A closer examination could give valuable insights. Spookster 20:50, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
