Rename[]

I didn't nominate this, though I agree with the proposal for a rename. However, as the ABC press release credits him as "Kid", I think the most appropriate rename is "Kid (Deus Ex Machina)". --Nickb123 (Talk) 16:44, 19 June 2008 (PDT)

Keep as kid, unless there's another "kid" titled article to be confused with. -- CTS  Talk   Contribs 16:04, 1 July 2008 (PDT)

  • I think Nick has the right idea. And since, as CTS points out, there hasn't been another character credited as "Kid", the episode specification is at this point superfluous. Additionally, weren't there other toy store customers in "Ji Yeon"? Robert K S (talk) 19:52, 4 July 2008 (PDT)
  • I think that relying solely on press releases for the naming of characters is somewhat impractical. Sure, that's what they were named in the script, but that was for the singular script, not the entire series. There are way to many kids on the show. Sawyer has referred to Walt as the "kid," many times, most notably when he shot Tom. I think more practical names should be used if "Kid," "Man," "Woman," etc. are named in the press release. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  21:48, 4 July 2008 (PDT)
Hence using the episode as a brackets suffix. Kid can most certainly become a disambig. --Nickb123 (Talk) 05:20, 5 July 2008 (PDT)
Yeah, the brackets would be fine, I guess. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  08:06, 5 July 2008 (PDT)
How come the rename tag has been removed? I guess its fine at the moment as long as it links to disambig see also. --Nickb123 (Talk) 10:11, 5 July 2008 (PDT)

TLADOJB[]

There's a character credited as "Kid" in that episode too; so shouldn't this be at Kid (Deus Ex Machina) and Kid be a disambig? --Golden Monkey 21:10, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
