"'Joop' means 'Yeah' in Finnish slang." This is wrong. Yours truly has been finnish from the birth, and "Joo" without "p" would mean that. But "Joop" doesn't really mean anything in finnish. I removed this trivia item.

Is it wrong of me to sort of wish it does get cancelled, just so we can see Joop? Perhaps a petition should be made to encourage them to create that scene as a bonus feature on the final season's DVD set.

I'm with you.. it would be both surreal and entertaining.

• It would be interesting to see "who" this orangutan really is. AFAIK the only orangutan on Oahu is "Rusti" who has been in the news needing a new larger enclosure. Anyways looking at the wrinkles on his forehead, it appears to be different animal (e.g. 1, 2)

FYI, it is an orang. I studied primatology extensively in college as a physical anthro major. Orangs have a number of different appearances, depending on age and they are composed of two species, so there is variation. Also, the orang in question is not an image taken by the webmaze writers themselves, it was obtained through Getty Images like many of the other images (mental health doc, Peter Thompson, etc.) seen within the ARG.

Joop as a clue? Edit

It's likely that the inclusion of Joop is a clue to read Jules Verne's "The Mysterious Island." In the new translation by Jordan Stump, Jupiter is shortened phonetically to "Joop," a fact I've added to the article.
