Rename
Edit
Remain with the current name, change to Jacob's followers or Ilana's group. ODK Talk Sandbox 16:45, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
for Ilana's group as IMO Jacob's followers is not as accurate because the Others and some of the Losties are also followers of Jacob, though they aren't a part of this group. --Orhan94 16:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
− Ilana′s group sounds good to me. --DerAndre (talk) 17:33, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ilana's group. When I created this article, I didn't know what to name it. Ilana's group seems to fit the best. ODK Talk Sandbox 17:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ilana's group is fine by me. She is obviously leader of their expedition, and we can always leave clear redirects. -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 10:34, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ilana's group works well --Blueeagleislander 10:46, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ilana's group as per LaFleur's group, Locke's group and Sawyer's group.--Baker1000 19:35, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Ilana's group Best name, I think. -- Sam McPherson T C E 21:29, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
and this group could perform I-Missions?--MRMIKE|TALK|CONTRIBS 04:07, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
New Rename
Edit
Change from current name to Jacob's bodyguards. Roth Sov'rai 19:19, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
- There's been too much renaming today. Just wait it out, man. They're probably Others anyway.--DanVader228 05:33, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Richard's apparent lack of awareness of their existence seems to contradict the theory that they are simply Others. Roth Sov'rai 07:51, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, and that seems to be what they are. And there being lots of renaming today is a pointless argument. --Golden Monkey 19:55, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
That's what Flocke called them, and that's what they are. -- CTS Talk Contribs 00:54, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
New Rename v. 2.0
Edit
Ilana is the sole remaining "bodyguard". "Jacob's followers" is a more inclusive term.--Gonzalo84 22:28, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
- comment edited to add the proper "yes" template"--Gonzalo84 04:55, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
"Jacob's followers" is probably the best term for this group. Not all of them are candidates and not all of them are bodygaurds... well, none of them are bodyguards because Jacob is already dead.--Nintendo_Warrior 04:06, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
Members
Edit
- That's silly, Locke and Frank aren't Jacob's bodyguards (they were part of Ilana's group, though) --LOST-Hunter61 05:23, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
I think we should edit Jack and Hurley here to, because they met Ilana and her group.--Station7 06:44, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
- I think for right now these people are good. Locke did carry out the 'move the island' demand that he believed was from Jacob.--Nintendo_Warrior 04:06, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
Jack the leader?
Edit
I'm struggling to think why people would list him as "co-leader". He spoke with Richard and joined them at the end. That's it. We don't know if he'll take a leadership role. I mean, he didn't take one when he went back in DHARMA. He just followed Faraday and took over when he died. So we shouldn't reference him as a co-leader til we see that he is. --Golden Monkey 15:11, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Because he is Hot and Sexy!!!--Edible8 20:41, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
What's up with adding Oceanic 815 peeps to the members list?
Edit
That's a little out of scope. This article is supposed to be about the Ajira passengers who were secretly bodyguards for Jacob--not the Others or various other groups that are Jacob-led factions. Anyway, the Oceanic 815 people were never led by Jacob, they just sat and allowed him to tell them a campfire story. Jack is not led by Jacob. Robert K S tell me 21:12, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
Redshirts info
Edit
- The redshirts are given names in one of the deleted scenes on the 6th season's DVD. While this is not canon according to our current policy, and that it would be difficult, if not flat out impossible, for us to determine which extra is portraying which character, do you guys think the names should be mentioned in the article, as mere trivia if nothing else?--LeoChris 03:13, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
