Arabic Name spellingEdit

If Ben's pronunciation of the name is correct, then the Arabic transliteration for the name Ishmael (إشماعيل) is almost never used in the Arab world; instead the name Ismail or Isma'il (إسماعيل) is prevalent. Suprah 14:00, 25 April 2008 (PDT)

A Turkish Character?Edit

Ismail and also the surname (pronounced as Bekir) are relatively frequent Turkish names, so this might be a character with a Turkish origin. Notice that Ben was trying to communicate with the mercenaries in the desert scene earlier in the episode in Turkish (his accent being surprisingly good too) so they might have gotten some help from a Turkish speaking guy in producing this episode, which could have given them the idea to include the idea for this character.--TheDreamingCelestial 13:45, 28 April 2008 (PDT)
