We don't know that it was a helicopter so the page shouldn't be called helicopter. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by HeWhoLaughsLast (talkcontribs) .

  • What should it be called then? --Marik7772003 08:50, 22 April 2007 (PDT)
  • Major changes need to be made to this page, there are major differences between Naomi's Helicopter and Daniel Faraday's helicopter...they each deserve their own page --10panichellia 19:34, 7 February 2008 (PST)
Page renamed to plural. --Nickb123 (Talk) 04:52, 11 August 2008 (PDT)
  • I think we should consider that there is only one freighter helicopter. Only one pilot seems to have been recruited (Lapidus), and only one helicopter could be seen on the deck of the Kahana prior to it leaving for the expedition. There is no evidence other Naomi's claims of there being a first freighter helicopter, and she could have even been mistaken (Daniel and Miles were both under the impression their helicopter had crashed too). We might want to remove the titles of 1st and 2nd freighter helicopter, as there is no evidence that two helicopters in fact existed. elliottthomas|talk|contributions 03:55, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Except for the flashing red dot in the sky and the crash in the ocean.-- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  04:27, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
The flashing red dot proves a helicopter was there, but it could have been jettisoning equipment the same way it did during 'The Beginning of the End'. That could have been unintentional or just part of an illusion. Naomi has been known to lie about her purpose on the island. Anyways, you are correct there is evidence about a 1st helicopter, I'll take my comment that there was no evidence, but I feel the fact that only one pilot was seen, only one helicopter was loaded on ship, and no lost helicopters were ever discussed by freighter people raises serious questions over whether there was a first freighter helicoper. elliottthomas|talk|contributions 05:44, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I take what I said back. There were definitely two helicopters. I watched "Meet Kevin Johnson" again and I saw the two fighting over who would get to ride the helicopter first. Lapidus didn't fly the first chopper, and we don't know about any other pilot, so I guess it must have been only Naomi. I don't know where the replacement came in from though. It was probably just too expensive to find two helicopters to film with. elliottthomas|talk|contributions`
Your own logic works against you. Watch it again. There are only two helipads on the ship. One (immediately behind where Michael and Lapidus are standing) is empty, and only the helicopter we see Lapidus fly is there. If they are the only two pilots, where's the other helicopter? Roobydo  talk  contribs  17:46, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
