When is it going to be finished? I'm hearing impaired. Lately my ABC channel feed for the closed caption isn't coming through I've contacted cable company, even the station itself getting nowhere with any of them. So until I can get Directv I'll just have to come to the transcript page and read what was said during the Lost program. I can't answer for anyone else, but I made an effort to contribute to the transcripts and my revisions were reverted. Not sure why I'd continue to waste my time? I thought the transcripts were a community effort. Also, I believe Talk:Portal:Transcripts#Change_of_Style_.2F_Superfluous_Descriptions was after Robert stopped working on the transcripts. --Stlgirl 18:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Sayid's father enunciated the name "Omer" in three instances of the scene:

1. Just before the subtitle: "Come on, kill one of them!" Original Arabic transliteration: Yalla, idbah ya Omer. Literal translation is: Come on, slaughter O Omer.
2. Just before the subtitle: "You will stay outside until you do!" Original Arabic transliteration: Ma idit hatidkhul el bait illa lamma tkhalis minnaha ya Omer. Literal translation: You won't get inside home until you get done with it O Omer.
3. At the subtitle: "Good for you. You did it." Original Arabic transliteration: Masha'Allah Ya Omer. Dabahtaha. Literal translation: Masha'Allah O Omer. You slaughtered it..
