Episode specific

Stop me if I'm wrong, but episode-specific easter eggs should go on the episode page, not the disambig page, correct? Fat Burger 11:47, 23 May 2007 (PDT)

 ?

I thought easter eggs were hidden to the casual viewer? On flashes before your eyes, it was confirmed in a podcast that the paintings in the office are not Thomas, it's just Jack bender's unusual painting style for various props. Charlie on the street is not an egg, as you cannot miss him and him being there is a plot line, not an easter egg. The postman saying the numbers in an occurence of the numbers, not an easter egg.--Pinknoise 03:36, 5 June 2007 (PDT)

Easter egg or not an easter egg

Some of these "easter eggs" are not actually easter eggs, and have a great deal to do with the mythology of the show.

  • I agree, some of these are actually more character connections then Easter Eggs. Such as Hurley appearing on the TV of a house that Jin enters or Hurley owning the box company Locke works for?Wild ste 15:38, 20 February 2008 (PST)
"Christian Bowman of the island survivor background cast appears in Michael's hotel hallway as he hauls Walt back into the room." isn't EE so much as using an actor in a different setting. I don't consider reused actors and reused props to be Easter Eggs. Anyone disagree? -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 20:47, 6 April 2008 (PDT)

Define Easter Egg

I was always under the assumumption that an Easter Egg was a hidden accesss point on the DVD menu screens that took you to different/hidden location for info, puzzles, interviews ect. There are several on season two's DVDs. Shouldn't the point of this page be to help find and locate those for discusion.

For Example on season II On Phase 1 screen instead of going to the fire and water you can get the cursor instead to land next to "anatomy of an episode" by hitting the left bottun and scrolling twice through the optyions. The dot will glow blue and take you behind the scenjes to Charlie telling the cast the snowingman joke later used by Desmond as the password into the Swan stationhe

On Phase II again hit left four times from the opening of the menu and instead of the white dot to the left of "Return" it will appear to the right and offer a hidden interview with freckles.

On the main page of disc 7 (bonus disk) press up three times till a blue dot apears over one of the dharma binders. This takes you to the painstaking process of making "dharma cookies"

There are more that I've found and probly a few I haven't. These are better examples of Easter Eggs and they are on more of your home collection than you would know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Guynamedles (talkcontribs) 20:31, 2 July 2009 (UTC).

Did you check the section at the bottom of the page called "DVD Easter eggs? It provides links to all of the Easter egg sections on the DVD articles. Each article lists the solutions to find every easter egg, so you don't have to try and find them yourself.--Baker1000 19:53, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
