Theory as to how the second picture ended up with Naomi.Edit

A copy was made of this picture. For some reason, perhaps for save-keeping, the picture ended up in one of Penelope's books. Penny owns the portugese version of Catch-22 because her staff speaks portugese. At some point in time Mr. Widmore selected the same book from the Widmore library, which includes Penny's collection, to give to Naomi Dorrit as a token of his appreciation during a meeting or business diner. The picture was never discovered while the book was still in Naomi's possesion.DarthYotho 23:11, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

RequestEdit

Can someone help me rename this page to "Desmond's Photograph"? - lookup

The only way is to move the page to the new name. --skks 06:08, 22 April 2006 (PDT)

Thoughts about the pic Edit

I don't think the guy in Desmond's picture looks anything like Desmond, however, I do think he looks a lot like Joseph Stewart and the woman in the picture looks exactly like Arlene Stewart. --skks 06:08, 22 April 2006 (PDT)

I agree. Perhaps a picture of brother and sister-in-law? Or vice-versa?--Tricksterson 10:38, 22 April 2006 (PDT)

Yeah, me too. At first I assumed it was Desmond, but looking properly I really don't think it is. They were definatly implying that it's his brother i think, because he does have a brother-like resemblance. --LostCat 06:55, 1 May 2006 (PDT)

Took out the old obsolete theories on Arlene Stewart, given what we now know about the photograph definitely being a continuity error (from reairing of "Orientation"). --PandoraX 08:24, 18 June 2006 (PDT)

  • Even though we know it was a different actress than Sonya Walger, it would still be interesting to explore the possibility that the original actress was possibly indeed Lisa Fraser, who played Arlene Stewart? Not for a theory reason, but just because it is an interesting production footnote? Bookhouse88 10:20, March 30, 2010 (UTC)

Request for new screencapEdit

  • Actually, it's a different actress in the original version from ep. 2 (and or 3)--BigSteve777 12:39, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
    • Ew, thats lame...--Piscez 14:34, 25 May 2006 (PDT)

Still in hatch Edit

From what I saw in the episode (and I've seen it several times), Desmond takes some food, medicine, and that book. Jack looks at the photo. He doesn't take the photo with him.

Also, how did it get to the Island? Did he put it in the plastic bag along with "Our Mutual Friend"?- Doctor JustPhil 07:02, 31 January 2007 (PST)

I think he either did that or put it into one of his pockets.--CaptainInsano 13:23, 31 January 2007 (PST)

Unanswered Edit

I highly believe the duplicate/triple copies of the photograph is either a production error or something that shouldn't be bothered with --Avindratalkcontribs email  20:25, 14 February 2008 (PST)
