I believe David Reyes is one of the few recurring characters whose first appearance in the show is also the youngest (chronological) age at which the character has appeared. Others may include:

• Aaron and Ji Yeon (of course)
• Karl (I think; I could be wrong)
• Jacob, apparently
• Some Season 5 Dharma characters (Amy and Radzinsky, most notably, but not Phil or Dr. Chang)
• Kelvin
• Keamy and crew
• Anthony Cooper, I think
