Talk:Course-correction

Fate vs. Free will Edit

I've removed three examples that were given as course-correcting because they do not fit the definition that Hawkings gave. In each instance, a person made an informed or lucky change to the events of their own free will, thereby changing the future, that had nothing to do with the universe correcting itself or fate. For example, Desmond deciding to not change his past and ask Penny to marry him is a decision he made, not fate stepping in to prevent it from happening. The only true example of the lot was Charlie's death, which was predicted by Desmond, who tried to stop it, and eventually caused by "Patchy". ---- LOSTonthisdarnisland 18:54, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
