There exists a MAJOR problem in continuity in this episode that no one seems to have caught! The issue of the gun and Ana Lucia's hostage situation. After fatally shooting Shannon Ana Lucia pretty much holds her peers hostage with the gun she has in her possession, makes them tie up Sayid, threatens Michael, etc. Does no one remeber that this is the ONLY gun they had in their possession, and that this gun, as was repeatedly stated in tha last episode, only has ONE bullet. In fact, Ana Lucia herself states this immediately before shooting Shannon while talking about the Others...she says (I am paraphrasing)"They are like animals, they're quick and they're smart anf if you think ONE GUN with ONE BULLET is going to stop them you're wrong"...how then can she hold the entire group hostage with an unloaded gun? Would really love an explanation!

She took Sayid's gun. When she gets up to let Sayid go, you can clearly see the empty gun (Sawyer's) tucked into the back of her jeans while the loaded gun (Sayid's) is in her hand.

McCormack's Assault Charge Edit

The bloopers section reads "Jason McCormack was arrested for an assault on an elderly woman. Even without Ana-Lucia identifying him, he should still have been charged and in jail for that assault."

There's no reason to assume a blooper here. An arrest on an assault charge isn't remotely in the same league as an arrest for shooting a cop. Even if we assume the assault victim was able to identify him (and we would have to assume it since the episode doesn't say), McCormack easily could have been arraigned and released on bail the very same day. This is not a blooper and should be removed.--Faraday100 22:54, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

I also just realized that in the episode "Two for the Road" Ana Lucia's mother/Captain states that McCormack was killed a full week after Ana Lucia refused to identify him. Making bail for an assault charge a within a week of an arrest in commonplace. This is not a blooper by any stretch of the imagination and I'm removing it from that section. --Faraday100 16:39, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Ana's gun Edit

I seem to recall a character mentioning that the gun Ana took from Sawyer only had one bullet left in it, but Ana fired a second shot and continued to treat the gun as if it were loaded. Am I wrong, or is there a continuity error in this episode?--Christopher J 04:51, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I just noticed that she had another gun the whole time. Where did it come from?--Christopher J 05:25, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I re-watched the beginning of the episode and just now realized that there was an explanation above.--Christopher J 05:32, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
