- Was in the tail section of the airplane.
- Chased down Charlie when he ran to the toilet just before the plane crash

That's something that kinda eludes me. If I remember correctly, she stays in front of the toilet to get Charlie to get out. Therefore, they must be in the same part of the plane when it breaks down. Even so, she's a taily, and Charlie one of the 48 survivors. How come ?

Another thing about those toilets : in The Pilot (Season 1), Jack, Kate and Charlie set to find the front end of the plane. As noted in the synopsis here, "Kate notices that Charlie has disappeared. He suddenly emerges from the lavatory to the suspicion of Kate." We understand Charlie went back to get his heroin stash (the reason why he got Cindy and others to try to get him out) that he couldn't flush out. Then he "sits in the nearest seat".

So, to my best knowledge, both Charlie and Cindy should have been in the front section when the crash occured. But in the end, Charlie is in the middle section, and Cindy at the back. Did I miss something ? Xibe 06:08, 26 April 2006 (PDT)

As for Cindy, flight attendands have a routine they must follow during every emergency. If her designated seat was in the tail-section, she would proceed there no matter what. --skks 06:56, 26 April 2006 (PDT)
She will be appear in Season 3--CaptainInsano
The article claims that the producers have said this, but can anyone cite the source? I have a source to the contrary: Carlton Cuse stated on July 21st in the Ausiello Report that "[W]e have many actors on our show; [the actress who plays the flight attendant, Cindy,] is not at the top of the list of actors we're servicing." Since it's in the Theories section, the first part is fine: "She will reappear in season 3," but I think the second part of that statement: "as said in an interview with the producers," should be removed from the article unless someone has good supporting evidence. the JoshMeister 21:18, 4 September 2006 (PDT)

SPOILER[]

How come theres a spoiler warning at the top and the "highlight to reveal" part has gone? Are you telling me people who dont want to know the spoiler cant look at that page anymore? It worked better with the highlight to reveal function. --lewisg 02:19, 15 December 2006 (PST)

Considering that Lost Moments are canonical and open for everyone to view (and besides, Lostpedia itself is a giant spoiler for anyone not on the US and Canadian schedule), I don't think the spoiler warning is neccessary. I think we should update the page to show that she is alive and will appear in a future episode. Bellemichelle 07:27, 15 December 2006 (PST)
But theres even a spoiler warning on the lost moments page? --lewisg 08:42, 15 December 2006 (PST)
There's just no reason to put a spoiler warning on a character page- we don't know anything except that she'll be appearing again in an upcoming episode. -BearDog 08:46, 15 December 2006 (PST)
I re-read the spoiler policy for this site, and ABC promotions for upcoming episodes are not considered spoilers. I have removed the spoilers warning from this article. BTW, the "highlight to reveal function" trick does not work for me, because my background color is not white.--Dagg 09:10, 15 December 2006 (PST)

Alive[]

We know from the trailer that Cindy will be making an appearance, but are we certain she's alive? I know it sounds silly, but Yemi's made appearances too and he's been dead for several years! -BearDog 10:56, 15 December 2006 (PST)

I think it's a decent assumption based on the circumstances under which we've "seen the dead" - in relation to the Monster, and not anywhere close to the Others, Otherville, or the separate island. Bellemichelle 11:05, 15 December 2006 (PST)
I'm excited to see Cindy back too, I just don't want us to start jumping to conclusions and posting assumptions. I had a professor who used to love saying "Now guy, never assume. Assuming makes an ASS out of U and ME!" The weirdest crap happens on this island. -BearDog 11:15, 15 December 2006 (PST)
You are right. She might be the Monster, a zombie, an apparition, etc. However, I think the intention of the producers was to convince us she was alive. It is all just an educated guess. We can change it later if we were wrong. For all we know, Jack is dead, and Christian is alive, etc etc. --Dagg 13:28, 15 December 2006 (PST)

If she was with Charlie when the plane crashed, how did she end up with the Tailies?[]

I had a problem with this way back when.. as Charlie runs to the front of the plane chased by Cindy.. who is outside the toilet he's haiding in.. then the shakes start.. and we have to assume Cindy abandons Charlie, to attentend to her other duties either at the start of the shakes or the after the first major shudder of the plane as it breaksup, and goes towards the tail.

In Charlies flashback to the plane we see him leave the toilet and dash back the way he came (narrowly avoiding a crushing from the runaway trolly) and get into a seat.

I had issue with charlie getting far back enough to be in the front as it loked to me as if her was in the back of the plane and ran forward and then ran/crawled back again.

This lead to my assumption he might have been an 'other' plant.. that didnt pan out.. but we never saw how he came to arrive on the beach.. and, also like Jack, he seems unharmed and lil disorientated but obviously not strapped into a seat or the remains of the planes midsection.--Nasher 16:52, 22 February 2007 (PST)

Classify as Other[]

I think Cindy should be considered an Other, along with the children. We weren't sure after "Stranger in a Strange Land", but after the Brig it's pretty much confirmed that she's joined them. --Sauron18 20:08, 3 May 2007 (PDT)

Gary Troup[]

She's never asked Jack or Locke what happened to Gary, her apparent partner, so I think the description of her relationship with him is confusing- I propose that we at least add a note on her page saying that her relationship is an "off-show" detail. Any thoughts?--Chocky 17:13, 18 May 2007 (PDT)

  • No response, so I've done it myself- there is now a section about her role in the Lost Experience, separate from the show itself.--Chocky 15:19, 24 May 2007 (PDT)

Life in the DHARMA Initiative[]

Nobody has been able to confirm or deny this for me yet. Just as Richard Alpert seemed to not have aged much in the time from when Ben was a little boy till now, isn't Cindy the long haired girl giving people lei's in "Man Behind the Curtain" saying: "Namaste" to the new arrivals on the island? Can anybody who Tivo'd it see if the actress playing Cindy is credited in that episode?

I don't have the credits Tivo'd but I have played that scene over and over and I am pretty sure it's her. Just with longer hair. I have had other people write me and tell me they thought the same thing (I posted this on a message board) but Cindy's page remains unedited to show this new information. Oh my god wow. I feel so stupid now. That picture looks nothing like Cindy. I need to get closer to my TV next time. Sorry! LOL.

I was so adamant about it too.

While Cindy may have worked with Dharma, it's highly doubtful that she was able to predict the future and doped Jack and Kate. It's pretty much been established that Desmond was the cause of the plane crash and that the Others weren't aware of what was going on until the plane was on its way down. Remember, Ben called it fate that a spinal surgeon just happened to fall out of the sky not to long after he was diagnosed with spinal cancer.

Juliet[]

I found it interesting that in The Other Woman, during a flashback, Juliet mentions to Ben that they now have everyone from the Tail Section that was on the List, and asks if Goodwin can come back. However, after this point, Cindy is taken during the Tailie's trip to the beach. Has this been discussed somewhere else? --User:Chickamauga 14:30, 27 March 2008 (EST)

  • Cindy may have been added to the list by Jacob later...but it is an interesting point. --CTS 11:56, 27 March 2008 (PDT)

Most navs?[]

Does this article have more blue navs at the bottom than any other? I think so, because she has been affiliated with so many groups. --Blueeagleislander 01:06, 12 March 2008 (PDT)

Would this be the reason of why the others took Cindy[]

Although Juliet said "Now that we have everyone on the list from the tail section" to Ben in a flashback from The Other Woman, but at that time the other had not found Goodwin's body. After they found,Ben took Juliet to saw, then Juliet asked Ben "what happened",and Ben answered "We don't know. There weren't any witnesses.I can only assume they found out he wasn't one of them.".After that,She want to know who killed Goodwin,so she took Cindy, because Cindy knew that Goodwin was killed by Ana-Lucia.Remember in the fourth mobisode,The Deal?"Juliet asks if Michael wouldn't do everything to save Walt!!!!!And this likely helped to steel him so that he could later shoot Ana Lucia and Libby for that reason!!!!"Maybe Juliet want Michael to kill Ana!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kaison (talkcontribs) .

Question[]

Could Cindy be jumping through time like Locke, Jin, Sawyer, and Juliet?--Max 09:22, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

  • The Others don't jump through time (right?) and so since the kidnapped 815ers are now "Others", they didn't travel through time.--Mistertrouble189 01:45, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
  • If shes at the Temple, with the others, then i dont think so, I believe that the Temple would protect them from time skips. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Omggivemaafningusername (talkcontribs) .

It's ambushed that The Others know from The Arrow since they captured Cindy. That's how they know where to found Goodwin. Maybe not or maybe well? Who knows?--Station7 11:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Season 6[]

She makes an appearance in Season 6, but this has to be noticed above.--Station7 14:55, February 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • It is noted quite clearly in the article?--Chocky 21:02, February 5, 2010 (UTC)

That's right.--Station7 21:04, February 5, 2010 (UTC)

Claire[]

She is at the same group as Claire. Do we need to edit Claire here or do we should waiting?--Station7 16:23, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Proper name.[]

In the infobox, in the 'name' section, shouldn't her name be Cynthia Chandler? I thought Cindy was a short version of it. Julietfan2626 Talk Blogs 16:50, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
