Talk:Cast changes
Back to page
Ah, whoever did more work on this, thanks. I started it, but my wiki formatting skills are pretty 2nd grade. --Piscez 04:08, 6 August 2006 (PDT)
So do we still count Claire as a main character throughout season one, despite her being listed on in the episodes she appeared in for the first 13? Doesn't that put her in the same boat as Walt in season two for those first 13 episodes (and now for Charlie in season 4)? Just watch the credits and you'll notice these special cases. What can we deduce about them?--Alexisfan07
A Different Template
Edit
What about a template change for this page? The actual one is very bad, IMHO. Maybe some table 'n' image things? -- Dottorcere talk contributions 04:53, 26 June 2008 (PDT)
Inconsistent
Edit
This page is somewhat inconsistent... some cast changes are listed as removing the character who dies as of the episode the die, instead of when they actually are not listed in the opening credits anymore, and some are listed per the opening credits. i.e. Daniel is removed as of "The Variable" but he obviously appeared and was credited in it, as well as appearing and being credited in "Follow the Leader"... I will fix this according to the opening credits if no one objects. -Kaisle 17:19, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Ilana
Edit
- Yes, she's dead, but we won't officially know whether or not Z. Robinson is out of the credits until next Tuesday. (In a season featuring flashsideways, seeing her again wouldn't be much of a suprise, heck at this point it's pretty much a given.) Therefore, I've removed the speculation added to the page. Cast members being listed in the credits after their character's death isn't uncommon, after all. (Somerhalder, Rodriguez, Watros and Davies all got a free ride through the season finale and Monaghan, AAA, Grace and a few others got a few extra episodes.) --LeoChris 02:35, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
- It's almost certain she will remain in the credits for the rest of the season, because the people who weren't credited for the rest of the season after their character's deaths were killed off in the first few episodes (Shannon died in the sixth episode and Maggie Grace's last main credit was the episode after that; Eko died in the fifth episode and AAA's last main credit was the episode after that; Charlotte died in the fifth episode and left the credits immediately). Every other regular killed off towards the end of a season remains in the credits because the actors were under contract for the entire season. The only exception is Nikki and Paulo, but we all know the curious circumstances around their deaths (plus the producers didn't really consider them regulars anyway) and it's unlikely that this is the same. Also as you said everyone else is popping up, so it's not a stretch to assume we'll likely meet a flash-sideways Ilana or she'll appear to Hurley or something. --Golden Monkey 04:27, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
