The intro song is not by Don McLean but by Buddy Holly. Locke's mother is playing a 45 gramophone record with the large - not the "later" small - center spindle hole. This would put Locke's birthday after September 20, 1957... when Buddy's song was released... Yes, the closed captioning said it was Don McLean, and I didn't want to contradict it before further research, even though I had every reason to think that was Buddy Holly's version. Robert K S (talk) 06:33, 9 May 2008 (PDT)
