As an avid drinker of Colt 45 (and I'm white), I just wanted to say that I support this page, and can't wait to see him in the episode! Two Thumbs Up.....if they weren't being used to hold the 40. Hooper talk contribs email 10:08, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
Heh heh oh Hoop, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I love both Lando, 40s, AND Lost. This is just the inevitable conclusion to our hopes and dreams. --CastorTroy 10:11, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
I feel so stupid. I LOVE Star Wars and I didn't notice him at all! Liveweak 22:20, 29 April 2007 (PDT)

Surely this needs two articles. Billy Dee Williams is a real person with a life and a career and a family. He is also a fictional character on Lost, one based on the real-life man but who starred in the fictional show Exposé. We can't put a "real world production" banner on this article and a character infobox. --- Balk Of Fame ♪ talk 00:09, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

- But he's not a fictional character on Lost. He's himself and portrays a fictional character (Mr. LaShade). If the producers had wanted him to be a different person on camera, they would have invented a name for that character. Our problem with headers is our problem. (The headers, btw, were a season 6 invention when it appeared that side-ways was something entirely different than it turned out to be.) Personally, I never cared for the headers and wouldn't mind seeing all of them gone, but I'm just one editor. That's probably an subject that should be fielded on Lostpedia:Ideas.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 01:16, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
- He is a fictional character on Lost in that - he's a fictional character... on Lost. Billy Dee Williams the character did fictional things in a fictional universe that no one, not even the real Billy Dee, did in the real world. He's not a fictional character on Lost in the way that Corvette and Mr. LaShade are. Corvette and Mr. LaShade aren't even CHARACTERS on Lost. They're characters on Exposé, which is a show on Lost.
- Billy Dee Williams plays himself in "Exposé". But Billy Dee Williams the character and Billy Dee Williams the man are not the same person.
- Billy Dee Williams acted in Star Wars. Billy Dee the character presumably did as well because Star Wars exists in the world of Lost.
- Billy Dee Williams the man guest starred on "Exposé" - the episode. Billy Dee the character did not. The episode "Exposé" does not exist in the world of Lost, because the series Lost doesn't exist there.
- Billy Dee the character starred in Exposé - the series. Billy Dee the man did not. The series Exposé does not exist in the real world.
- Billy Dee the man starred in Dangerous Passion with L. Scott Caldwell. Billy Dee the character did not. The actress L. Scott Caldwell does not exist in the world of Lost.
- We need an article on Billy Dee Williams (actor) that features his current actor infobox and an article for Billy Dee Williams that features the current character infobox. The latter should preferably have a different pic, one of him after the Exposé cameras have stopped rolling. Optionally, we can have a page for Mr. LaShade with the current main Billy Dee pic, but that's less important because Mr. LaShade doesn't actually exist in our world OR the Lost world. --- Balk Of Fame ♪ talk 03:08, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
