What is she holding in her hands?[]

A Syrian Hamster or Golden Hamster, I'm sure. Don't know why that page has been blocked, though. --Hunter61 02:56, 5 May 2007 (PDT)

On the extras disc of Season 3 (blu-ray), a segment called Blu-Prints: The Sets of Season 3 > Ben's House is tour of Ben's House guided by Michael Emerson. While touring the house Michael discusses the painting and mentions what the woman is holding might be a gerbil or a "furry mammal". A nice close up of the painting is also shown. --Silautumn 23:51, 10 February 2008 (PST)

Could it be a painting of his mother ?[]

The painting can be seen in a flashback of ben as a young boy, so it must have belonged to Roger.. and if Ben kept it after his dad's death, surely he must have some attachment to it ? FabC 14:37, 10 May 2007 (PDT)FabC

I didn't notice that, where exactly in the episode is it? Fat Burger 14:40, 10 May 2007 (PDT)

  • it can be seen in "the man behind the curtain" episode, on the left side of the front door from ben's point of view, right as he comes home on his birthday to find his dad passed out drunk on the couch, FabC 15:23, 10 May 2007 (PDT)FabC

Two different Paintings[]

Probably continuity issue but there are two different paintings used between episodes (see the two images on current article). The most obvious difference is seen in the woman's face and hair.--J.nc 20:15, 9 March 2008 (PDT)

Picture of Dorian Gray, anyone? Evil-pineapples 16:57, 11 March 2008 (PDT)

As has been mentioned elsewhere (so I'm not seen as the one who thought this up), this prop was altered in a similar way as Desmond's photo, which had a different actress portraying Penny, as she was not yet cast for the role. I would guess that this painting was altered to look more like Juliet.--Bdjsb7 13:02, 25 March 2008 (PDT)

Really? She doesn't look any different to me. My guess is the painting was misplaced/disposed of and it was recreated. Robert K S (talk) 13:14, 25 March 2008 (PDT)
