It's interesting that so many people are sure that the snowmen joke was in the first series. I wonder why this is? Could it be disinformation spread by the producers? It's also interesting that these people can't agree on who told the joke and to whom. I've also seen two different punchlines: 1. freeze! 2. World Trade Center[]
- I made a comment on the WTC Towers not being visible, but I am not 100% certain. Therefore could someone with DVR of the original broadcast confirm that the World Trade Center towers did *NOT* appear in the original US broadcast? - The World Trade Center towers did in fact appear in the original broadcast. The rumour originated from a screencap that was circulated around from Lost-Media. The image has been used to defend the fact that the Towers were not in the original episode, and were digitally added later. However, adjusting the colours on the photo reveal the Towers present, thus, it was simply an error on the part of the website for not screencapping the episode correctly. This contrast edited image of the original, reveals the Towers. The original at Lost-Media is also date stamped with the upload date "Sep 28, 2005" on the album page, concluding that the towers were present in the original broadcast. -ChristianShephard (talk) 20:13, April 12, 2015 (UTC)
Boat visable on horizon[]
As I was watching this episode again I noticed a boat on the horizon in the upper left just over Sawyer's right shoulder on the morning after they were wet Adrift. I couldn't get a screen capture. - I think so. On a related note, i added the info last year about this being a Sawyer episode. Just before the season 5 finale aired, Damon and Carlton did a magazine interview where Carlton went into further detail as to why it was not used. As i recall they were not happy with what was filmed. Is it really Cynthia Watros at the end? The article says so, but she wasn't a regular until 2.4 and I recall a DVD extra that stated that was the first episode she filmed stuff for. - I don't think it is. I added this to the "Orientation" page last year "Bernard, Cindy, Libby and possibly Ana Lucia were portrayed by extras in the opening sequence when Eko attacks the raft survivors and in the following scene when they are being transported to the pit. Pistol / rifle[]
In the bloopers section it says: "Desmond holds Locke at gunpoint with a pistol. In the same shot in Man of Science, Man of Faith, Locke is held with Desmond's rifle." - I can't confirm this. I have both episodes right here and checked them and in both Locke is held at gunpoint by Desmond with the pistol. You can see the rifle on the right side of Locke, as in, hanging from Desmond's shoulder, not being used. Anyone? Thanks. --Rossiini (talk) 22:33, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, it is quite clearly a pistol in both perspectives of the stand off. I'm not sure how someone made that mistake, or why it wasn't taken down before. I'll remove it.--Baker1000 (talk) 00:04, August 6, 2014 (UTC)
Amsterdam[]
In S1 "Special", when Michael is hit by a car, he was saying he was to come to Amsterdam. However in this episode which takes place after car accident, Michael is havin a legal battle.
