Name Significance[]

Some interesting name trivia that needs to be added to this article in one form or another when its unlocked:

In Hinduism Achara and Dharma are synonymous with the same thing i.e. the regulation of daily life. Indeed Achara is often refered to as the Supreme Dharma.

As one site describes it:

"The mark of Dharma is Achara or good conduct. Achara is the mark of the good. From Achara is Dharma born. Dharma enhances life. Man attains prosperity and fame, here and hereafter, through the practice of Dharma".

"Good conduct is the highest Dharma. It is the root of all Tapas or austerities. Righteousness, truth and good works power and prosperity-all originate from conduct".

Cool info to note... I can't wait for this episode :) --PandoraX 09:50, 18 February 2007 (PST)

It is NOT strange that Achara uses the 'Namaste' greeting -- in Thailand this is a standard greeting. What is strange is that she tattoos Jack in Chinese, and that no one seems to bat an eyelash. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Omistressmine (talkcontribs), 16:06, 22 February 2007 (UTC).

  • This isn't strange either. A large percentage of Thai natives are ethnically Chinese, and even many of the ones that aren't speak and read Chinese (same for the latter goes for Koreans and reading Chinese). Achara and Chet are both played by Chinese actors, also.--PandoraX 15:49, 22 February 2007 (PST)
