Chess[]

Ok, I've added something about the game chess in the article. As far as I know, there hasn't been any occurance of this game in the show, like with backgammon, but since I think chess is one of the most advanced games created by man, I feel it's rather relevant. --ShivaTalk 04:14, 11 July 2006 (PDT)

Edit: I just saw under Games that it occured in the last episode of Season 2 :) My bad... (So maybe my observation is relevant after all :p ) --ShivaTalk 04:19, 11 July 2006 (PDT)

Cleanup[]

Some numbers in the show are going to happen in real life - some numbers are shown for a reason. I think we need to clean up some occurances that happen just because they are a number (0-9). --Ohmyn0 (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2006 (PST)

  • Agreed... I'm pretty tired after all that transcript editing, but I'll go through all the numbers tomorrow, I think :) --PandoraX 21:39, 5 November 2006 (PST)

Math[]

Is adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing random numbers in the show constitute adding them to these pages? --Ohmyn0 (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2006 (PST)

  • I vote no--Ohmyn0 (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2006 (PST)
  • Vote no -- I think we used to have something like this written somewhere actually. Example of apophenia and pointless, you can make any number fit with arhithmetic. --PandoraX 21:38, 5 November 2006 (PST)

What about counting things in the background? or letter?--Ohmyn0 (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2006 (PST)

  • I vote no--Ohmyn0 (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2006 (PST)
  • I vote maybe on that. It's very much contextual; many intentional Easter Eggs do background mentions of numbers, but there are limits to this, too. --PandoraX 21:38, 5 November 2006 (PST)
