Why she was not sent back in time like the other Oceanic 6'ers?

• Sun was the only member of the Oceanic 6 not sent back in time because the necessary 'conditions' described by Eloise were not met, due to her not being with Jin at the time.

→ I don't see how Sun not being with Jin could be considered as a 'condition'. More plausible is that she was not with her daughter, Ji Yeon, who was conceived on the island though born off it. I suspect Ji Yeon is going to carry a lot of importance in season 6. --Lostwin 16:47, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

What are her motivations for returning to the Island?

• As well as wishing to rejoin her husband, Sun is also still on a mission from Charles Widmore, which she devised with him in 5x01 "Because You Left". The aim of this mission is to enable Widmore to regain control of the Island.
