"Shephard's Why" is an orchestral piece from the Season 6 soundtrack.

Claire pulls out a music box and explains that Christian left it for her. This surprises Jack, but no more than Claire's existence. Jack then describes going to Sydney to collect their father's body, and Claire reveals that she came from Sydney as well - on the same flight as Jack.

Jack then asks for a closer look at the music box.
