Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • Steve was supposed to say one line in the script, however Christian wasn't around that day, so they plucked Dustin out of the cast of extras to give the line. Since the script was not changed to reflect who actually said the line, Dustin was officially credited as playing Steve in that episode (since he spoke Steve's line), but for every other episode, he has played (and is still playing) Scott.
  • This is unlikely, as the only line Dustin has ever spoken in the series was when he identified himself as Scott "The Moth", and the only time he has ever recieved a credit was in that episode, as Scott. Also, the only two times Steve speaks (in The Moth and "Exodus, Part 1") were also the only two times any actor recieved a credit for the character, and both times Steve was creditted to Chritian Bowman.
  • When Scott and Steve identified themselves "The Moth" they lied as a joke. This explains how the guy who identified himself as Steve was played by the same guy who died as Scott.
