  • One of her books is named Here there Be Dragons, as one of the inscriptions in the Blast Door Map, the book follows dragons awakening to discover humankind has dissapeared and their quest for answers.
There is a S.K. Penman, she wrote a book named Here there Be Dragons (ISBN: 0345382846). This could be a coincidence or just a cheap fan jumping on the bandwagon...
  • Another of her books, named UNDONE, is about beings of pure information, which is reminiscent of the black smoke. The back cover of the book, as seen at [1] , contains three letters, appearing to be V 2 . 1. Below that, there are the numbers 2357.
  • Sontag comments about another book, Negative Space: "I always liked the anthropological depth of this one, especially the concept that "the others" who are sent on the mission basically become pariahs themselves in order to serve the greater good of the tribe."
