Rick Romer was a set decorator for the production crew of Lost, Grass Skirt Productions. He was the original Set Decorator for the pilot and up through episode 60 in Season 3. Romer is also the fictional author of Rick Romer's Vision Of Astrology, a book that Claire was reading on the Island in "Left Behind". This was the episode after he left the show.

- Romer has worked as a Set Decorator and Production Designer on numerous other Hawaii-based shows such as Magnum P.I, "One West Waikiki", "Jake and the Fatman" (Hawaii and L.A.) Baywatch Hawaii, Doris Duke Story", "Escape from Atlantis", "The Ride," North Shore, Johnny Tsunami, "Fantasy Island" (remake with Malcom McDowell), many MOW's "E.R." (Hawaii episodes), and on more episodes of "LOST" than any other Set Decorator. He also worked for many years in theatre as a lighting and set designer, scenic artist and on the national touring productions of "Phantom of the Opera," "Les Mis," "Lion King" and "Mama Mia."
