Scene descriptionEdit

In the flash sideways, Charlie notices Claire at a table and stops playing his song. She smiles at him but suddenly feels a contraction.

On the Island, Desmond reaches the Heart, revealing it for the first time. He approaches the light and starts to scream. Then he grabs the cork and pulls it out.

InfluencesEdit

The piece's second movement begins with the Light theme, then moves into the Heart theme before returning to the Light theme. The piece ends on action material that does not play in the episode.

Title significanceEdit

To "pull out all the stops" means to use all means available to achieve a goal. During the scene, Desmond literally pulls out a stopper.
