• Talbot may be a relative of Peter Talbot, the young man who found Locke and asked him about Adam Seward. This is supported by the fact that Talbot is an apparently wealthy man with an American accent, and we know that Peter's family was very wealthy and lived in the United States.[1]
• Talbot, keying on the "twin" theme hinted at by Sam Thomas' name, is a "twin" or reflection of [[Sawyer]
