Mr. and Mrs. Tron worked at Bennigan's before they were discovered by Hurley. He hired them as butlers, and they served his family in their mansion in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Hurley fired them before he left for Australia, trying to distance his family from the bad luck. ("Tricia Tanaka Is Dead")

They were apparently rehired, as Hurley, coming home to a mysteriously silent home, called out "Mr. Tron? Lady Tron?" after calling the names of his mother and father. The Trons were later appeared at the background during Hurley's birthday party. ("There's No Place Like Home, Part 1")

Trivia[]

  • Out of all the main characters, they only met Hurley, but it is possibly that they met Jack, Kate, and Sayid as well, since they were all present at Hurley's birthday party.

The Trons in "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1"

  • In "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1", Mr. Tron was portrayed by another extra, who looks a little bit younger than the one appeared in "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead", yet they still resemble each other. On the other hand, Mrs. Tron's face was not clearly seen in the episode, therefore it is unknown if the character was still portrayed by Brenda Ching, or an unidentified extra.
  • A fun little throwaway joke has Hurley addressing Mrs. Tron as "Lady Tron". Ladytron (pronounced identically) is an electronica band, a song by Roxy Music and a comic book character; being a pop culture buff, Hurley might have been thinking of any of these three.
