Mr. Baskum was the intended adoptive father of Claire Littleton's baby, Aaron. ("What Kate Does")

Mr. Baskum and his wife were supposed to pick Claire up at LAX airport, but failed to appear, and when Claire arrived at the door of Mrs. Baskum's house on Langdon Street in Brentwood, California, a distraught and teary-eyed Mrs. Baskum explained that her husband had left her and that she would be unable to adopt the baby.
