Moumen El Hajji played the role of the Tough Moroccan in "The 23rd Psalm", and is the caterer for the Lost filming cast and crew. He was selected for the part because of the tough difficulty locating Moroccans in Hawaii.
When questioned by Damon Lindelof why he is a caterer and didn't get in to acting, he replied "I own a restaurant, I act every day of my life".
El Hajji can be seen in a Season 2 DVD easter egg, explaining how they made the DHARMA branded cookies.
Also, the young boy left alive when the Moroccan is murdered by Eko is played by El Hajji's son.
