Moneen is a post-hardcore/emo band from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, that made a direct reference to John Locke in their most recent album The Red Tree (2006).

The first song of the album is titled "Don't Ever Tell Locke What He Can't Do". The lyrics do appear to somewhat represent Locke, or at least his "Yes, I can" attitude.
