"Main Title" is the ominous, discordant sound that accompanies the slightly out-of-focus title graphic when it glides towards the viewer during the Lost title sequence. In every episode except the pilot, it appears after the opening scenes before the first commercial break (known as the teaser). In "Pilot, Part 1", it appears at the very beginning of the episode, before the very first scene of the series.
The "Main Title" was composed by J.J. Abrams. It appears only in the soundtracks for Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3. The piece of music during the end credits of episodes is called "End Title".
