Take a more in-depth look at the inner workings of time travel, from Quantum Mechanics to paradoxes. This course consists of two sessions taught by visiting professors currently active in the field of theoretical physics.
Class 1: A Clash in Time
Edit
| |
There’s more than one way to think about time and the world that we live in, and these schools of thought don’t always agree. Professors lead students through the concept of Quantum Mechanics vs. General Relativity - and the possible new link between the two using String Theory.
Class 2: The Effects of Time Travel
Edit
| |
With the concept of time travel come the ramifications of altering history as we know it. But is changing the past truly even possible? This class will explore the effects that time travel might have on the world as well as the individual, from paradoxes to physical complications.
