This is not the last soundtrack release

Yes, "The End" mostly reused themes. But it blended some of them in amazing and... highly marketable ways. Considering Lost was up for an Emmy (which it lost) for the episode's music, surely they'd release it.

Conclusion: We'll see a third disc of finale content. That's why the soundtrack marks the current finale tracks as "bonus tracks".

  • I thought the sub group would The Candidate themes. I dont think all those tracks are all from the last recruit? But reunions seems more like Sun/Jin's reunion. hmm Buffyfan123 06:36, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • The sub group could also simply be a theme for Widmore's Group. --- Balk Of Fametalk 17:37, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
      • I see maybe, I hope theres another soundtrack, as theres alot of themes for the last 4 episodes that deserve one. I hope they release like another soundtrack one that collects all themes that were not on all the season soundtracks. Buffyfan123 00:52, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
I really hope you're right about the third disc. However, I'd be willing to bet that "The Hole Shebang" is when Mother shows Young Jacob and MIB the light cave for the first time. I know it could easily be any of the Source scenes in the finale, but considering it's like an entirely new theme which runs through 6x15 there's a good chance it's on there.--Baker1000 23:59, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
My guess is that it's the seven minutes or so in the finale in which Ajira takes off and Jack's replugs the Heart. That includes the Source theme, and it's a pretty epic sequence altogether. --- Balk Of Fametalk 00:58, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
