Lost: Missing Pieces
Main Discussion
Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • Each Missing Piece may have a clue into what Season 5 is bringing.
    • In "The Watch", Christian mentions Jack one day having a kid of his own. In a Season 5 flashforward we may learn that the baby Sarah is carrying is Jack's.
    • In "The Deal", Juliet mentions to Michael that Walt is special. His "specialness" will be explored.
    • In "Operation: Sleeper", Juliet says "Did he?" in response to Jack saying Locke blew up the submarine. As hinted at by Locke being soaking wet when the explosion went off last season, we will soon find the sub intact.
    • In "Room 23", there is more talk about Walt's powers and evidence that the Others do not know how to handle them. Like in "King of the Castle" this is a hint at a deeper exploration of Walt's powers to come.
    • "Jack, Meet Ethan. Ethan? Jack" foreshadows an explanation into the Island's fertility issues.
    • "The Envelope" is tricky because it was originally filmed as part of a full episode. It's addition to Missing Pieces and thereby Lost canon, is extremely important. It is likely that that powers that be decided that this was important enough information to alter from the pattern the rest of the mobisodes follow.
    • Ben's time Travel was why he said something to Jack in a Missing Pieces episode. In Missing Pieces' "King of the Castle", when Ben was playing a chess game with Jack, he told Jack he wouldn't try to stop him from leaving the island, but that someday he may want to come back. Then Ben said, "And if that day comes, I hope you remember this conversation." He said this because he had been time traveling from that future time.
