Lindsey is Claire's aunt, sister to Claire's mother Carole Littleton.
Lindsey did not have a good relationship with Christian. This is exhibited in "Two for the Road" where he drunkenly accosted her in what appears to be her home after she denied him the privilege to see Claire, his daughter. She claimed he had "no right" to see her. A drunken comment from Christian implied that he paid the mortgage on her home. We also see this in "Par Avion", where she and Christian argued in front of Claire in her mother's hospital room. Christian told Claire that Lindsey "hated" him.
Trivia
- Before "Par Avion", and the introduction of Carole, many people had speculated that Lindsey was Claire's mother. When the cast of "Par Avion" was released, many assumed, since both Lindsey and Christian were in the list, that the two were Claire's parents.
