Most notable is Locke's knife collection and its introduction in the episode "Walkabout". As yet, it is unknown how Locke acquired his knife throwing skills and why he had so many knives with him if he was only going on a walkabout tour in an wheelchair.

One of these knives are also featured in the extra featurette "Terry O'Quinn: Throwing from the Handle" on Disc 7 of the Lost: The Complete Third Season (DVD).
