  • Known for his serious-minded roles, Kevin has tackled a number of generals, attorneys, governors, doctors, coaches, even psychics during his long career
  • He won the Canadian "Genie" Award for his supporting role in I Love a Man in Uniform (1993).
  • His only child, Jennifer Tighe, is also an actress
  • His guest character on Law & Order: SVU (on October 2, 2007) had the alias of "Cooper", the same last name of his character on Lost, Anthony Cooper
    • On an interesting side note, the Cooper character on "SVU" worked at a rare books store. His assistant was named Nestor Buchanan. Nestor Carbonell plays Richard Alpert on Lost
  • Appeared in Another 48 Hrs. (1990) alongside future Lost co-star Andrew Divoff
  • He plays the character Ian Blackpoole on 'Leverage,' a TNT drama about high-tech crooks and con-men
