Ken Halperin was Hurley's accountant/money manager. He informed Hurley that he was a majority shareholder in a box company in Tustin, CA. After Halperin asked him where he got the lottery numbers, Hurley realized it was the numbers that were cursed, not the money. Shortly afterwards Hurley witnessed a man fall past the window behind Ken, appearing to be committing suicide. ("Numbers")
