"Jungle" is an orchestral piece on the Via Domus soundtrack. It plays at the beginning of "Force Majeure".

Scene Description

Immediately after the crash of Oceanic 815, Elliot explores the jungle he has landed in. He sees a woman who he does not know, but before he can reach her, he is distracted by an unsettling sight – a mangled passenger hanging from vines. The woman disappears, confusing Elliot, and he runs through the jungle again before coming upon Kate.

Influences

The piece includes several notes of the game's main theme in its beginning.

The piece’s opening shares similarity to tense strings in "The Eyeland", a piece that plays, similarly, while Jack races through the jungle to the crash of Oceanic 815.
