Background
Canavan's first acting role came with a 1997 episode of the television show Madison. Since then, he starred in several other shows, including Without a Trace, Murder Most Likely, The Crossing, Gilmore Girls, and, most recently, the HBO series True Blood. He also appeared in the 2006 Clint Eastwood film Flags of Our Fathers.
