Joanna Bool portrayed Ruth, Desmond's ex-fiancée, in the season 3 episode of Lost "Catch-22".

Joanna gained a B.A. Hons. from the Guildford School of Acting in London and whilst there received the Principal's Award.
Since graduating Joanna has proved herself in many fields of acting, including straight theatre, musical theatre, voiceover, film and television.
Most of Joanna's experience has been on the stage, where she has acted in productions of Biloxi Blues, Much Ado About Nothing, and Me & My Girl. She also appeared in Aaron Burnett's 2005 film: "Knight to F4", in which she played Christine Ryder.
