Ji Yeon was erased from the timeline by Juliet

  • Ji Yeon was erased from the timeline when Juliet set off the bomb. If Oceanic 815 never lands on the island then Jin and Sun are never on the island when Ji Yeon is conceived.

Importance to the storyline?

  • Ji-Yeon Kwon will have an important role to play in future episodes.
  • She will have certain 'abilities' like Walt has.
  • There will be a storyline involving Ji-Yeon and Aaron in a flashforward.
  • Ji-Yeon has served her purpose in the story and will be a minor character from now on.
  • She will end up being very important because she is the first child to be born after being conceived on the island.
  • Ji-Yeon- Kwon is really Miles. He was conceived on the island and has special powers.
    • Ji-Yeon is a girl.
  • Ji Yeon Kwon could grow up to become Vanessa

Is Jin really the father?

  • Jin is not the father. The baby is clearly bi-racial. Specifically, it is Michael's baby. It's obvious the way Sun told Michael that she was pregnant and his stunned reaction. Don't be so naive folks, look at the picture of the baby. She is clearly bi-racial.
  • Michael is the father of the baby. When Hurley said that she looked just like Jin, Sun seemed surprised.
    • I think we can rule this out because in "This Place Is Death" Ji Yeon didn't look, bi racial**
      • I agree, in "This Place Is Death" Ji Yeon looked full Korean. I even asked several of my Korean friends if she looked full, and they said definitely. Also, I did some calculations. Ji Yeon was conceived on the Island, in episode, "...In Translation" (In the episode, D.O.C, Juliet told her that they conceived 53 days before that, and that episode was on day 85. 85-53=32, and day 32 was "...In Translation" Therefore, she was conceived in that episode. I find it hard to believe that Sun and Jin had sex on that episode, because Jin accused Sun of having something 'going on' with Michael. I also find it hard to believe that Sun and Michael has sex in that episode, because if I were Sun, I'd be careful around Michael, after Jin started to catch on.

Ji Yeon Kwon is special, like Aaron?

    • She is special because Jin cannot have children, jacob made Sun pregnant because the island needs more islanders. Also she could mean something to the island like having special powers like myles.
