Theories

Jed was a passenger aboard Ajira Airways Flight 316 and a survivor of the crash on the Hydra Island. He may have been killed by Widmore's team, along with other Ajira survivors who remained on Hydra Island. ("Recon") However, since his body is never shown, his ultimate fate remains unknown.
