Reason to be murdered

While exiting the building where the murder commited, Sayid walks through the door reading "Oldham Pharmaceuticals" written in Russian transliteration. Probably this is reference to the man named Oldham who later in the episode (and 30 years before, actually) will make Sayid confess who he is using some medication. Therefore, Oldham could found the organization named as said above, Andropov could be in charge of this organiztion (after Oldham's death?) and could know about the island from Oldham. This could be the valuable reason for him to be dead. Anyway, it's a trifle anyhow, but since it was the last person in the Linus's list of enemies, his death was not so obligatory - Ben could give this job to Sayid just for him to have some fun.
