IobiSeeingYou is a user of the Retrievers of Truth forums in the storyline of the alternate reality game The Lost Experience.

She was the one who revealed two websites that contained clues, namely BroadbandStories.com and Richerdeeperbroader.com. It is also implied that she was in part responsible for the latter website, calling it her "best effort to date." Like the other users, she is supposedly a fictional employee of Verizon. She is described as single in the June 7th thread.

Iobi seemed to be involved with FiOS, a telecommunications service offered by Verizon. Its possible that as part of the game, she supposedly works in this department (it is hinted that she and DSLerator do not work in the same area as BroadBandBeatnik and Fiberoptician).

12:05pm Boys, boys, down with the testosterone. That Hanso has nothing on us. They can clone all the monkeys on the planet but our FiOS is space age technology. An original.

Fiberoptician
12:10pm - Are you reading that off the company website?

BroadBandBeatnik
12:12pm - Pat yourself on the back much? ;-)

The final ROT thread included a chilling story from iobiSeeingYou, about being followed in the "real world." She commented that just because the Hanso Foundation may have been brought to its knees, its influence is not yet gone.

Ok. I had a really odd encounter last night on my way home. I left work a little later than usual and was attempting to catch a cab. There was a guy hailing a cab on the same corner. Well no cabs showed up for a while so I decided to try my luck elsewhere and walk a few blocks down. The guy followed me. Ok you may think he also didn't want to be stuck without transportation, but there was something weird about the way he walked. I could have sworn he tried really hard to appear casual and unassuming. I started getting a little nervous and was relieved when a cab finally turned the corner and slowed down by me. As I was jumping in, I turned around to check this guy out once more.... He was smiling at me. One of those creepy, knowing smiles. And then I could have sworn I heard him say, "iobi."

Trivia[]

  • She is referred to as a "him" in the June 27th thread, causing some confusion amongst fans. However, this is an isolated instance, and is probably a production goof.
  • In the 1960s television series "The Prisoner", starring Patrick McGoohan, residents often use the phrase "be seeing you" as a way of saying goodbye. In the series, the title character is taken to an unknown location called "the village" with a great deal of mystery surrounding both its inhabitants and its properties, as well as a strange creature controlled by a central figure that seems to act as a security system. It might have been an influence.
